My love for creativity started long before Coulson Creative.

​

As a kid, I was constantly in front of a camera, posing for my uncle, who’s a photographer. I became fascinated by the way a camera could freeze a feeling or a moment in time. My first true obsession? Clouds. My gallery was full of them! Different skies, light, textures, all little reminders that beauty lives in the everyday.

​

At the same time, I was growing up around events and hospitality. With a parent working in events and marketing, I saw early on what happens behind the scenes, the planning, the logistics, and the care that goes into making people feel welcome and looked after. That people-first way of thinking quietly stayed with me.

​

I learned responsibility young too. By the time I was ten, I was guiding guests on quad bike experiences on our family farm, learning how to communicate clearly, manage safety, and keep people comfortable while still having fun.

 

As I got older, I naturally gravitated toward roles that involved people, working in hospitality and retail, caring for children, teaching music, helping manage spaces, and supporting teams. Each role taught me patience, empathy, and how to read a room.

A Jack of All Trades

Music and creativity became a big part of my world as I grew up. I taught music, worked closely with artists, and later found myself in the fast-paced world of live events and productions. I supported large-scale shows and tours for international bands, working behind the scenes on the operational side, coordinating logistics, schedules, travel, and on-the-ground execution, while liaising with artists, their managers, sponsors, venues, ticketing teams, and suppliers.

Alongside this, I’ve always loved being both in front of and behind the camera. Acting became another creative outlet, allowing me to experience storytelling from a completely different perspective. Whether on set, backstage, or behind a lens, I’ve learned how vulnerable creative spaces can be, and how important it is to create environments where people feel safe, supported, and at ease.

Over the years, my work expanded into events, operations, education, podcasts, and community-focused projects. I’ve coordinated teams, managed logistics, handled client communication, worked on social media and content, and supported businesses behind the scenes. These experiences naturally led me to offer consulting and training support, especially around customer service, people management, and helping hospitality-focused teams create better experiences for their clients.

My Approach

No matter what I’m working on, my approach stays the same: care, intention, and heart.

​

I believe the best work happens when people feel comfortable. I keep things organized and structured, but never stiff. I like to bring a light, human energy into my work and I’ll happily crack a joke, be a little goofy, or laugh with you if it helps ease nerves and create connection. When people feel relaxed and at ease, the magic really happens.

​

Whether I’m coordinating an event, planning a wedding, consulting for a business, or working on a creative project, my goal is always to make the process feel smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. I want clients to feel heard, supported, and confident that everything is being taken care of, without losing the joy along the way.
